Fillers

Injectable fillers include Juvederm, Volux XC, Voluma, Restylane Contour, Restylane Kysse, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Refyne, Restylane Defyne, RHA Portofolio (RHA2, RHA3, RHA4 fillers), Revanesse Versa, Radiesse, and Sculptra. These fillers are all FDA approved and used to “fill” in the wrinkles that have developed over time. The look is natural and the results are immediate and last up to one year.

About Fillers

There are several fillers that can be used – much like an artist with different paintbrushes on a palette. Each filler has it’s own unique properties and are used in different areas depending on the individual. Juvederm, Volux XC, Voluma, Restylane Contour, Kysse, Lyft, Refyne, Defyne, RHA Portofolio (RHA2, RHA3, RHA4 fillers are volumizing fillers that are made of your own body’s hyaluronic acid. Radiesse and Sculptra are unique advanced injectables that are used to stimulate collagen and fill in deeper areas such as cheeks and temples. All the fillers are FDA approved and results are immediate and last up to 1 year! The fillers are often used together to create a natural and youthful look.

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid and collagen are necessary for our skin to have fullness. When we are born – we have 100% of this. As we age – we lose a little bit each day. This becomes evident in our 30’s as we develop creases/wrinkles between the nose and lips. When we inject fillers – we are just restoring back what your body has lost. In essence, we are adding volume where it used to be.

Nasolabial fillers

Nasolabial folds are a type of common wrinkle that affects everyone, but as we age, they tend to develop deeper. These are the lines that develop down the inside of your cheeks and go from the corners of your lips to the bottom of your nose.

Lips

As we age – our lips also start to lose collagen and hyaluronic acid. It starts in the lateral portions and the lips begin to thin and sag. You can see in the first photo how the lips have tired or droopy appearance. By injecting filler back into the lips – we have created a balanced and youthful appearance.

Marionette Lines

As we continue to age – the lines extend further from the lips down to the chin. These are called Marionette lines and often give a false appearance of sadness or fatigue. By injecting fillers, we can immediately correct these lines and create a happier and more youthful appearance. This lasts for up to 1 year!
